A huge jazz music festival, one of the biggest in the world. Definitely worth going to. You should buy tickets well in advance. The festival dates are already listed until 2014!
The weather in Montreal can be very hot in the summer so make sure you bring approriate clothing but it can also be unpredictable and get cool in the evening.
